Trinity Academy is taking a bold step forward — developing a new campus in the heart of North Portland’s Kenton neighborhood, one mile west of our current school. We’re creating a place where truth, goodness, and beauty can flourish together. The centerpiece of the project is a two-story, 17,000 sq. ft. academic building that will nearly double our capacity to serve students.

About Trinity
At Trinity Academy, we are shaping young men and women through the discovery of truth, the practice of goodness, and the creation of beauty within a joyful, discerning, and ecumenical Christian culture.
Since opening its doors in 2011, Trinity Academy has been rooted in the heart of North Portland, serving students in middle and high school. Today, Trinity is the only non-alternative private high school in this historically underrepresented and economically diverse quadrant of the city.
Rapid Growth
What started 15 years ago with five students in a church basement has steadily grown, regularly setting new enrollment records. This year, Trinity celebrated a new milestone with a record enrollment of 133 students, a nearly 30% increase in five years.
Because of our impactful curriculum and intentionally-cultivated school culture, along with the limited educational options in North Portland, we project continued family/student demand and enrollment growth for years to come.
The Need
While our historic and projected growth is deeply encouraging, it also presents challenges. Our current 9,000 square foot leased building has a practical capacity of 125 students and has exceeded its limits.
Every classroom, hallway, and common space is bursting at capacity. To continue to serve our students well, and to preserve the rich, relational culture that defines us, we need room to grow.
